Home loans
A home loan through Auzlending means one application compared across 60+ lenders, a structure built around your plans, and a broker who chases the lender until you have the keys. No fee to you.
Who this loan suits
Anyone buying, building or upgrading a home they will live in. Salaried employees, self-employed people with one or two years of returns, and buyers coming back to the market after a break. If you have a deposit of at least five percent plus purchase costs, it is worth a conversation.
What you need to apply
- Photo ID (driver licence or passport).
- Two recent payslips and your latest group certificate, or two years of tax returns if self-employed.
- Three months of bank statements showing your savings and spending.
- Details of any other loans, credit cards and buy-now-pay-later accounts.
- The contract of sale once you have one. For pre-approval you do not need it.
How we compare lenders for you
We start with the lenders whose policy fits your situation, then compare rate, fees, offset and redraw features and how quickly they are approving right now. You get two or three options with the total cost over the first five years, not just the headline rate. Fixed, variable or a split of both is your call, and we explain what each means for you.
What it costs
Nothing from you. The lender pays Auzlending a commission when the loan settles, and we show you the amount before you sign. Lender fees such as application, valuation and settlement fees are listed in every option we send. Details are in our credit guide.
How long it takes
Pre-approval in two to five business days once we have your documents. Full approval after a signed contract in one to two weeks. Settlement is usually 30 to 90 days after contract, set by your contract terms.
Questions people ask
Should I fix my rate?
Fixing gives certainty on repayments but limits extra repayments and can carry break costs if you sell or refinance early. A split loan gives some of both. We model the options with your numbers.
What is an offset account?
A transaction account linked to your loan. Money sitting in it reduces the interest you pay as if it were paid off the loan, while staying available to spend.
Can I get pre-approved before I find a property?
Yes, and we recommend it. Pre-approval tells you your budget and makes your offer stronger. It usually lasts three months.
